PARK CITY SUPERFUND SITE
Superfund Site: Result of Years of Oil Refining
The 80-acre Park City Superfund Site was the result of years of oil refining and paint manufacturing that released chlorinated solvents and other industrial chemicals into the soil and groundwater. GSI worked as a sub-consultant to the Remdiation Manager and provided the field work needed for the site cleanup.
37 Monitoring Wells Installed
GSI installed 37 groundwater monitoring wells at the site over a 6-month period.
On Schedule, Under Budget
Using muliple crews and drilling programs, GSI not only met the field work schedule and project, they came in under budget. GSI also provided Operation and Maintenance for the wells
through quarterly groundwater sampling and weekly remedial systems inspections. O&M operations have been ongoing.
Remediation systems include density-driven convection, air stripping and soil vapor extraction.
