STAFF GEOTECHNICAL/CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS ENGINEER
General Duties include:
Coordinate, implement and deliver geotechnical and construction testing projects.
Prepare geotechnical reports to include subsurface logs, geologic profiles, location plans, site maps, and engineering recommendations.
Supervise and perform laboratory and field testing services to support engineering projects.
Work under licensed engineer to pursue candidate’s own professional licensure.
Position requires a bachelor’s degree in civil, geotechnical, or geologic engineering from an ABET accredited college or university. E.I.T. certificate is preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong technical skills, excellent problem solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of mapping software and general business skills are preferred.
