General Duties include:
Operation of Central Mine Equipment (CME), Mobile, Diedrich, and Geoprobe drilling equipment.
Hollow stem auger and continuous flight auger drilling.
Conventional and wire line rock coring.
Performing standard penetration testing and thin walled tube soil sampling.
Construction of monitoring wells and piezometers.
Maintaining technically accurate and neat field logs
Executing project specific health and safety programs in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations, and/or project specific requirements
Analyzing and monitoring project site safety matters
Performing all work in compliance with the applicable specifications and codes
Position requires the desire and ability to work outdoors in all climates
Capability of obtaining experience in all phases of geotechnical and environmental investigation techniques
Ability to safely lift 75 pounds repeatedly
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving history
Current Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) - 40-Hour Health and Safety Training Course for Hazardous Waste Operations preferred
Class “A” or “B” CDL license preferred
